Pull one starter forward
Open an app-authored motif and create a local working copy. The starter stays untouched while your project gathers its own thread labels, measurements and observations.
AN EMBROIDERY PROJECT DESK
Choose an original starter, map thread to real pattern regions, keep declared measurements and record every useful change beside the work.
THE CLOTH REMEMBERS STRUCTURE
Threadloom keeps the decisions that make a motif workable: where a region begins, which swatch belongs there, how the stitch travels and what changed after the first pass.

Open an app-authored motif and create a local working copy. The starter stays untouched while your project gathers its own thread labels, measurements and observations.

Named regions move from planned to current to stitched. Shape, text and border treatment carry the state, so color is never the only signal.

MEASURE. TEST. PARK THE TOOLS.
Measurements are declared per project. Switching between centimeters and inches changes the display, not the design. Fabric and thread are tested together on a spare swatch.
Needles and embroidery scissors are sharp. Threadloom keeps a clear reminder to work on a stable surface, park the needle when pausing and store scissors closed.

BRANCH WITHOUT ERASING
Fork a named swatch when color, scale or stitch direction deserves a separate path. Each branch stays connected to the project that prompted it.

A QUIET PROJECT DESK
Project regions, palette choices, measurements, variations, and journal notes return to the same visual workbench. Optional technique sources remain clearly separated from the project path.
Reduced motion keeps every state and control while removing the short route and docking transitions.

“A note should sit where the cloth changed.”

RETURN TO THE WORK
Your region states, mappings, measurements, variations and journal return together.
